It's an exciting time of year for food, of course, though apparently a slow time on The Cheese Diaries! Let's not forget cheese for those holdiay parties!
The traditional cheese log is a must have for every holiday affair. I must admit to a certain fascination with logs made with Velveeta.
An intriguing alternative is this cheese ball that I found on-line. i mean heck, if you're going to eat cheese, you might as well lump it all up into one big lump, right? After all, that's all fromage forte is. Take all your left over cheese and food-processor it up, squish it together, and voila! Spruce it up by rolling it in chopped nuts, herbs, and what not, and you've got an appetizer. Okay, I've never actually tried this...
